Based in Histon in Cambridge, I have over twenty years experience of working in the coaching, training & HR fields - experience which I believe helps me to understand and relate to the many challenges we face in our personal & professional lives. As a coach I have been lucky enough to work with a diverse range of people who have undertaken coaching to achieve key changes & also with a range of organisations across the UK and also internationally. I completed my coaching qualification in 2010, am a member of the Association for Coaching (MAC) and also the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD) - I am also committed to my own CPD, and undertake regular supervision I have a real passion for the coaching process and see it as a process which delivers a great depth of learning / personal insight - it would certainly be a pleasure to work with you.

My Experience

My coaching experience has allowed me to work with clients across a a range of personal & professional areas - typical examples would be:

Personal Effectiveness Coaching: Understanding & embracing personal transition & change / building confidence, self-esteem & assertiveness / improving personal communication / recognising & managing stress / managing time effectively / dealing with difficult people / improving personal impact.

Career Coaching: Identifying wider career goals & preferences / understanding barriers to career progression / identifying & moving towards career choices / making an impact in your new role / career development planning.

Executive / Business Coaching: Managing successful organisational change / developing goals & strategies / maximising staff performance / improving organisational communication / leadership & management challenges / managing conflict / developing workplace teams / wider people management issues.

My Rates

Coaching is priced according to your needs - please do get in touch to discuss a package that works for you.

My Coaching Styles

As a coach I see it as my responsibility to provide an environment that is confidential, supportive and non-judgemental, where you feel relaxed & able to explore the issues / challenges you would like to discuss. I describe my coaching style as being 'person centred' - what this essentially means is that I approach coaching believing that you are in control of the coaching agenda, that you are best placed to identify key issues which are effecting the changes you would like to make & that you have the capacity to change / grow, identifying the key steps you need to take to achieve your outcomes. As your coach my job is to question to clarify to challenge, to make you think, but most of all to support you in the coaching process - so while I may make suggestions, I believe that coaching is basically 'non-directive' in nature & so I would not 'instruct' or 'teach', but use a range of techniques to help you achieve your coaching goals.
